At the end of the year I created a bunch of combined skeins with leftover yarn, pairing a number of colors or textures together while dividing the skeins in half to make matched balls for socks or gloves. Many of these skeins were sock weight yarn and I have found that if I use the scrap skeins alternated with a solid color, it keeps a consistency in the look of the sock with fun large block stripes. These socks are definitely one of a kind with 4-8 yarns combined in each. The only part that is a bit annoying is weaving in all those ends!
